Simple Steps for a Simple Island Wedding
Please note our time difference:
- The US Virgin Islands is on Atlantic Standard Time (AST), and does not change to Daylight Saving Time in the summer months.
- Therefore, the US Virgin Islands is on the same time as Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) in the summer months.
- During the winter months, the US Virgin Islands is one hour later than Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Before your arrival:
- Reserve date, time,
location, photographer and your Minister Colleen Mader, who
will perform your wedding ceremony. Fill out the form
on the
Packages Page, and send
$200.00 as a retainer, either via Express Mail or via the Paypal
link available when you submit the form.
- Download the following:
Application for Marriage License
License and Certificate of Marriage
Acrobat Reader (if needed)
- Mail the filled-out forms,
death and/or divorce certificate, and $100.00 money order to
"The Superior Court of the Virgin Islands" at least one month
before your ceremony. Please pay close attention to the
instructions.

By pre-arrangement, there is an additional fee of $150.00 when the Court is available on Sundays and SPECIFIC holidays between 9:30-11:30AM.

- Marriage License -
BOTH bride and groom, carrying picture ID's, MUST pick
up the Marriage License in person from the Superior Court as
early as possible.
